I drove and just kept on driving the other day, and ended up in Windham, NY, which is about an hour from my house. We've had gorgeous weather here lately, and I just couldn't resist taking the time to give myself a mini getaway. It was relaxing, and somewhat head-clearing, which is a good thing.

So Kat, what sort of things were you picturing when you pictured NY? Apple orchards and whatnot? :) This is some state we're in. You should see pictures from up in the Adirondacks. Unbelievable.

I always think concrete jungles everywhere. It really is gorgeous and green. Reminds me a bit of Washington. lol! I hear it gets darn cold in the winter tho.
