Ice Storm

Guess who couldn't leave her house today?  There are live wires there still.  The neighbors moved all the branches out of the way.  I really need to go out tomorrow.  Time to call National Grid!
My rear fence.
Don't forget to click to enlarge any of these.

That mess above is in my neighbor's yard
Deer in the field.  Do you see all three?

Hi Sharon

I hope you still have power! They've warned us to prepare for ice, then snow, beginning tomorrow night.

Stay warm and stay safe!!

Hi guys. So far so good on the power. We still can't get out, though. I actually had to get a ride to a party last night! I have another one today, and I may just drive right over the danged wires. I can't be trapped here forever!!

Suzette, I'm glad you don't have to deal with this crappy weather any more. I think you've paid your dues! It's time for you to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather.

Not ever having experienced anything like this, your photos for me have a powerful, dangerous awe-inspiring beauty to them. Reminds me that Mother Nature is an awesome force. I hope the power lines get cleared and you can get out soon, Sharon.

I know the ice was a hassle, but it was so pretty! If it makes you feel any better, we get ice storms down here, too. :-/
