Early Garden Love

Poppy:
Poppy just bursting out...:

Lupine:

I love lupine's foliage...I'm a bit of a leaf freak:

Hellebore...fading...:
I thought these were some bulbs that I had planted,
but it's my variegated Solomon's Seal that a friend gave me last year:
*sigh* I adore tulips:
**double sigh** I love my view:
I spent many hours and planted a bunch of plants last weekend during that fabulous bout of gorgreous weather we had here in NY. I think I got about eight pots planted, and five garden beds mulched. Time for more digging!!

I am so glad that I checked in here before I went to bed, Sharon! Now I'll have sweet dreams of beautiful spring flowers. I love that we all live in different areas of the country. It kind of extends spring across several months, starting here in the West and then spreading. My freesias and orchids bloomed over a month ago. My roses and sweetpeas are blooming now.
The tulip picture is super-fantabulous, you know that? Beautifully lit, beautifully composed, there's a sense of it just trembling with spring energy. All the photos are wonderful!

And I love your view, too! Any deer? Coyote?

Great photos. My poppies didn't do as well this year. Your tulips I'm sure will be beautiful. Love that pic of the tulip. The Lupine is also very wonderful. I love the cone shape of the whole flower head.
