Proud as a.....

Good luck, harmony, serenity, peace of mind, relaxation and protection are all associated with the magnificent peacock.  I crafted that little thing above with Photoshop, of course.  Pretty, right?  (Feel free to copy and print or whatever.)

I'm sorry I have nothing inspiring to write today.  (I think I've been spending too much time on Facebook, and neglecting my blog!! It's fun to find people you haven't seen in 20+ years!  If you're not over there yet, get to it!)

I will say that I am wishing Barack Obama the strength and perseverance to tackle the enormous job he has ahead of him. I'm going to keep my expectations low, because as this mess was not created by one man, I don't believe it can be cleaned up by one man either.  But we have to start somewhere. I think President Obama is as good a place as any.  GoBama!  Hee!

Like your feather! I keep meaning to look into facebook...have already had old HS friends call me to see if I had one. I thought I would leave that domain (facebook, myspace yadda yadda to my kids...it's kinda their world...don't wanna be a smother)

Facebook is freaky. It gives...and it takes. My 7th grade boyfriend recently found me on there. He's a biker now. I never would have guessed that.

I'm getting into FB now, too. But RT's right. I have a love/hate relationship with it.

Your peacock feather is beautiful! Really? We can save and use? It's gonna show up on my blog, you know!

I wish Obama all the success in the world. Like you, expectations are low, only because he has such a slim congressional record that it's hard to say what he can accomplish. (You'd think I'm from Missouri, the Show Me State - lol!) There sure was a lot of money spent on all the inaugural events, wasn't there? The daughters looked so cute!

Hi Sharon...I love the feather.

My thoughts about the new administration are the same as yours. I know it's not going to happen overnight. I hope folks don't lose hope by expecting too much too soon!

Miss Xanti has me on Facebook..never thought that would happen. I rarely think to go there unless she or her mom or aunts tell me to get over there! I'll figure it out one of these days!

"GoBama"...is what my niece yells from the University of Alabama! snicker.

OK...I take you up on ALL your offers of blog help...yes, I know...I'm way behind in the times. I have uploaded that resizer many times...I haven't a clue about it all. Don't really want to know...my brain can't handle all that!

Since you've offered, I'm putting you on official call 24/7. :) Me loves you Sharon and your peacock picture is great!

Beautiful image, Sherm. It's a good time of year for blogging a little less, though I still find I can't help myself now and then. FB is certainly fun, tho, eh?
